Symphony Park to Host Wells Fargo Championship Tee-Off Concert on May 4

Charlotte NC, March 28, 2023— Today tournament officials announced an entertainment opportunity for golf fans and the public to attend following the first round of the Wells Fargo Championship, Thursday, May 4.

From 6-11 p.m., live music, featuring the band Yacht Rock Revue, will be performing at Symphony Park in SouthPark near Quail Hollow Club, site of the Wells Fargo Championship, May 1-7.

Wells Fargo Championship ticket holders will receive a 48-hour pre-sale opportunity to purchase General Admission and VIP tickets for the concert starting today.

“We want to share the excitement of the Wells Fargo Championship, Charlotte’s PGA TOUR event, after the first-round of competition has ended and extend that into the night,” said Gary Sobba, Wells Fargo Championship Tournament Director. “This tournament is part of the fabric of the community and we hope this live music opportunity will enhance our mission to continue that ideal.”

Yacht Rock, who has performed onstage with award-winning performers John Oates and Eddie Money, came from humble beginnings in a basement, touring in partnership with Live Nation and Sirius XM, they now headline sold-out shows across the country, from Webster Hall in New York to the Wiltern in L.A.

General admission tickets to the concert start at $20 per person and VIP experience begins at $100. Tickets can be purchased via eTix on www.southparkafter5.com.  The concert is presented by SouthPark Community Partners and produced by Southern Entertainment.
