Where is the Wells Fargo Championship golf tournament held?

The 2018 Wells Fargo Championship will be held at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, NC.

How can I purchase tickets for the tournament?

Do you offer ticket refunds?

There are no refunds or exchanges. All sales are final.

What is the ticket policy for children?

Children 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder (one child per adult).

Do Wells Fargo Team Members receive a discount on tickets?

Yes, Wells Fargo Team Members have a special ticket offer that concludes April 18th, 2018. To access the special offer, please visit www.WellsFargoChampionship.com/teamoffer. You must be Wells Fargo Team Member with a valid employee ID number to access the offer.

Is there a Military Ticket program?

In an effort to show our appreciation, the Wells Fargo Championship and USO of NC will invite up to 1,000 active and retired military ID card holders to attend the tournament, May 1-7, 2017. Each military card holder will receive two complimentary tickets. This offer applies to each day of tournament week and is limited to the first 1,000 daily grounds tickets allotted.

Military Ticket Program Notes:

  • This offer is for active and retired Military ID card holders only.
  • Due to the limited amount of tickets available, only 2 tickets per day, per military ID card holder will be distributed.
  • Tickets must be picked up at one of the tournament Will Call locations when you present your valid Military ID card
    • Will Call locations will be open the week of the tournament April 30- May 6
      • Quail Hollow Club (On-Site Will Call location)- Located conveniently in the main bus drop off at Quail Hollow Club. Upon arrival, please look for the “Will Call” tent.
      • Symphony Park- (Off-Site Will Call location) – located in the parking lot of Symphony Park (the Reid’s Fine Foods parking lot at the intersection of Carnegie Blvd. and Barclay Downs Drive.
  • Children 12 and under, do not need tickets when accompanied by a ticket holding adult.
  • Limited quantities available.

Will tickets be available to purchase on-site?

Yes, patrons will have the ability to purchase tickets at the On-Site Will Call location.

Why does my ticket purchase charge appear on my credit card
statement as “Champions for Education”?

CHAMPIONS FOR EDUCATION is the non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that distributes charitable funds on behalf of the Wells Fargo Championship tournament.

Can I leave the tournament and then come back on the same day?

We do not offer re-entry. Once you are admitted to the course, your ticket is punched and you won't be allowed back in the gates after exiting.

How can I play in the Pro-Am?

Where is tournament parking?

  • Leave the Car, Ride the Rail

    Ticketed patrons for the Wells Fargo Championship can conveniently utilize the CATS LYNX Blue Line to catch tournament shuttles.

    • Tournament shuttles will ONLY be available from the Sharon Road West Light Rail Station.
    • There will be no tournament parking at the Sharon Road West Station.
    • To access tournament shuttles, all patrons MUST present a tournament ticket and a valid LYNX ticket purchased on the day of service from one of the LYNX stations OTHER THAN SHARON ROAD WEST. There will be NO exceptions.
    • Patrons should exit trains at the station and follow signs to the shuttle loading area. Shuttle drop-off and pick-up will be at the main tournament entrance.
    • Shuttles will be available from 5:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. daily.

  • Uptown Shuttle Service

    Open Monday - Sunday 5:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

    • A complimentary Uptown Charlotte shuttle service will run Monday - Sunday 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from the Charlotte Convention Center, Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. entrance. Event parking will be available in surrounding lots.
    • Please note: Uptown parking lots are not tournament-authorized. The tournament does not control the pricing or availability in Uptown parking.

  • Carowinds- Parking & Shuttle

    (Tournament-Authorized Lot)

    Open Monday - Friday only, 5:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

    From I-77:Take I77 to Exit 90 (the NC/SC border). Follow the signs to Carowinds.

    From I-485:Take I-485 to I-77 South via Exit 67 towards Columbia. Take Carowinds Blvd. Exit 90. Follow the signs to Carowinds.

  • Ballantyne Corporate Park- Parking & Shuttle

    (Tournament-Authorized Lot)

    Open Saturday & Sunday only, 5:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

    From I-77:Take I-77 to I-485 Eastbound. Exit off of I-485 onto Johnston Road (Exit 61) going South. Ballantyne Corporate Park is on your right at the first stop light. Please follow the signs to designated parking areas.

  • Southpark Area- Parking & Shuttle

    (Tournament-Authorized Lot)

    Open Saturday & Sunday only, 5:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

    From I-77N:Take Tyvola Road (Exit 5). Turn right on Tyvola Road. (Tyvola becomes Fairview Road.) Turn left onto Barclay Downs and follow the signs to reserved designated parking areas.

    From I-77S:Take Tyvola Road (Exit 5). Turn left onto Tyvola Road. (Tyvola becomes Fairview Road.) Turn left onto Barclay Downs and follow the signs to reserved designated parking areas.

  • All American Pub Shuttle

    (Tournament-Authorized Lot)

    Free Shuttle Service from All American Pub - Thursday, May 3rd - Sunday, May 6th (ONLY). Shuttles will run 9:00am- 8:00pm and pick-up / drop-off every 2 hours. All American Pub is located at 200 East Bland Street, Charlotte, NC 28203.

  • Handicapped Parking

    Patrons must apply for access to our Handicapped Parking lot. Please visit WellsFargoChampionship.com/handicappedparking to fill out an application.

    Handicapped parking is located at Forest Hill Church, 7224 Park Road, on Mon. - Fri. ONLY and Quail Hollow Middle School, 2901 Smithfield Church Road, on Sat. & Sun. ONLY. Dedicated wheelchair-accessible buses will shuttle disabled persons and their guests to the tournament.

  • Bicycle Parking

    The Wells Fargo Championship is a bicycle friendly tournament. Be more environmentally friendly and avoid riding the shuttles - ride your bicycle to the event! Bike racks will be provided in the gravel parking lot across from the main entrance of the club. There is a separate pedestrian entrance for patrons who ride their bikes or walk to the tournament. Please note the tournament is not liable for any stolen or damaged items.

  • Uber Drop-Off and Pick-Up

    Patrons can utilize the Uber app to request rides for drop-off and pick-up during the tournament. Uber driver-partners will be able to deliver and pick-up their clients on Gleneagles Rd with close access and patrons can enter the tournament through the convenient pedestrian gate. Personal vehicles will not be allowed to access Gleneagles Rd. Uber is the exclusive rideshare partner to help you get to and from the tournament. All patrons must make their own personal arrangements and be responsible for both their arrival and departure schedules

  • I am traveling from out of town, where can I stay?

    Are there any prohibited items I should not bring to the tournament?

    Yes, please review the PGA TOUR Prohibited Items List and the PGA TOUR Permitted Items List.

    What is your bag policy?

    The PGA TOUR’s bag policy is very similar to those you see at other major sporting events.

    I am disabled or have a guest with Special Needs; Will I have access to and the ability to move about at the tournament?

    Handicapped parking is located at Forest Hill Church, 7224 Park Road, on Mon. - Fri. ONLY and Quail Hollow Middle School, 2901 Smithfield Church Road, on Sat. & Sun. ONLY. Dedicated wheelchair-accessible buses will shuttle disabled persons and their guests to the tournament. We have a Special Needs Committee available to assist these patrons.     Please note: The deadline for PGA TOUR players to commit to a TOUR event is Friday at 5:00 p.m. prior to the next week’s tournament. Keep in mind, players can withdraw from a tournament at any time.

    How much money has been donated to charity by the Wells Fargo
    Championship?

    The Wells Fargo Championship has donated over $20 million to charity in fifteen years.

    Is there a Monday qualifier?

    The Monday Qualifier is run by the Carolinas Section PGA. Online Registration will be available through their website https://carolinas.pga.com/tourqualifying

    What is the tournament purse?

    The Wells Fargo Championship tournament purse is $7.7 million. The first place winner of the 2018 tournament will receive $1,386,000

    I’m interested in renting my house during the tournament. How do I explore this opportunity?

    If you are interested in renting your home during the 2018 Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte, please contact a local realty company that handles vacation rentals or place a listing on Airbnb or VRBO.

    How long is the Wells Fargo Championship scheduled to be held?

    The tournament is currently scheduled to be played annually around the first weekend in May through 2019. Wells Fargo is the title sponsor of the tournament.
