THERE IS NO ON-SITE PARKING AT EAGLE POINT GOLF CLUB

Tournament authorized shuttles will be the ONLY shuttle service with access past the traffic circle on Porters Neck Road and the main tournament entrance to the Wells Fargo Championship.

All patrons will be searched for prohibited items prior to loading the shuttles.

There is no public parking available along Market Street, Porters Neck Road and Futch Creek Road. Porters Neck Road will be closed from Champ Davis Road to Bald Eagle Lane for thru traffic during tournament week.

The tournament’s main parking for general spectators will be located at the Hampstead, NC “Spot Festival” property located at 14121 US-Highway 17. This property is the site of the NC Spot Festival held annually in the fall. Designated tournament shuttles will run from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday of tournament week.

The Wells Fargo Championship will provide shuttle service from an area designated as the City of Wilmington Transportation Hub. This shuttle site is located on the south side of Harnett Street between North 3rd and North Front streets. The tournament does not control pricing or availability in ANY parking lots that surround this property or other parking facilities in the downtown area. Designated tournament shuttles will run from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday of tournament week.

Additional Free Parking Downtown for Wells Fargo Championship

In addition to the four downtown parking decks that are already free to Wells Fargo Championship ticket holders, the following Cape Fear Community College parking deck and surface lot will also be free of charge beginning Saturday, May 6 through Sunday, May 7:

    * CFCC Student Lot #2 (surface lot; entrance on Hanover Street between 2nd and Front Streets; next to Schwartz Center)
    * Nutt Street Parking Deck (entrance at corner of Red Cross and Nutt Streets)

With this additional parking, there will be more than 2,500 free parking spots available in downtown Wilmington over the weekend. Wells Fargo Championship spectators are encouraged to take advantage of this downtown parking and utilize the free shuttles from the downtown transportation hub. A free trolley will run from or near these parking locations to the transportation hub, and a map of that route can be seen here.

Ride shares can also be dropped off and picked up at the downtown transportation hub. This updated information is available on the county's webpage at EventsNHC.com.

Parking for those with special needs will be located in a “reserved” area of LOWE’s Home Improvement at 191 Porters Neck Road during tournament week. Patrons must apply for access to our Handicapped Parking lot.
Please visit www.wellsfargochampionship.com/handicappedparking to complete an application. The tournament will provide properly equipped shuttles designed specifically for the transportation needs of these special needs guests.


Drop-off and Pick-up locations- General Spectator Parking and Downtown Shuttle

For fans using Uber, Lyft or other rideshare companies including taxi and limo services, these providers MUST proceed to the tournament’s general spectator parking lot in Hampstead or the Transportation Hub downtown for drop-off and pick-up. These are the only locations rideshare users will be able to access the tournament.There is NO drop-off location for rideshare users in the Market Street/Porter’s Neck Road area.


FAQs

Q. Will I be able to walk, ride my bike or golf cart to the tournament?

A. No. Please review the New Hanover County Public Safety Information for details.


Q. If the Main Parking Lot in Hampstead is full when I arrive will I be directed somewhere else?

A. Yes. The tournament does have a contingency plan for parking overflow situation. Parking attentdants and signage will be provided to assist and direct if such a situation occurs.


Q. If I do not have my ticket can I still park in the official tournament lot and ride the shuttle?

A. Yes. If you have a ticket waiting for you at Will-Call or need to purchase a ticket, you can do so once you are dropped off by the tournament shuttle service at the tournament’s Main Entrance. There will be a Will-Call location here where you can either pick up a ticket that someone left for you or you can purchase a grounds ticket. You must ride the tournament shuttle to get here. You cannot drive to this Will Call location.


Q. Will I be searched before I get on any of the tournament’s shuttles?

A. Yes. All patrons will be searched prior to boarding any of the tournament’s official shuttles. We suggest all patrons read the prohibited items list and the permitted items list before leaving for the tournament. Both lists are located on our website under the Spectator tab.


Q. How long will the shuttle ride take to get to and from the golf course?

A. From the Main Parking Lot in Hampstead it will take approximately 15 to 25 minutes based on traffic. From the City of Wilmington Transportation Hub in downtown Wilmington it will take approximately 30 minutes each way, depending on traffic.


Q. Where do Tournament Volunteers (Ambassadors) park?

A. We encourage Tournament Volunteers (Ambassadors) to park in the Main Parking Lot in Hampstead. If volunteers opt to utilize the Downtown Shuttle, please note the tournament does not control pricing or availability in ANY parking lots that surround this property or other parking facilities in the downtown area.
