Wells Fargo Championship Offers Mulligan Ticket Program

Available for Sold-out Tournament April 30-May 6

CHARLOTTE N.C., April 24, 2007 – Tickets have sold out for the fifth Wells Fargo Championship April 30-May 6 at Quail Hollow Club. However, fans have a second chance to see some of the PGA TOUR's best at the tournament in Charlotte.

Once again, the Wells Fargo Championship is offering a Mulligan ticket program. In golf, a Mulligan is known as a "do over." The Wells Fargo Championship's Mulligan ticket program allows fans that purchased daily ground tickets to donate them back to the tournament if they find they cannot spend the entire day at Quail Hollow. This is the only PGA TOUR event to offer this program.

The Mulligan tickets will then be sold for just $10, with all the proceeds benefiting a local charity, which has not yet been determined.

The Mulligan tickets will be available for purchase starting at noon each day at the Will Call locations-Monday through Sunday at Symphony Park (SouthPark Area); Monday through Friday at Carowinds/Carolina Mills Outlet; Saturday and Sunday at Ballantyne Corporate Park.

"We are pleased to offer this program once again at the Wells Fargo Championship" says Kym Hougham, Executive Director. "Many fans who missed the opportunity to purchase tickets have commented on how grateful they are to have this opportunity. And, as soon as we sold out this year, we had many inquiries about the program almost immediately after we announced our fifth straight sellout."

Mulligan tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and only valid for the remainder of the day issued. All Mulligan tickets are ground access only. Supplies of tickets are limited. For more information, please call the ticket office, 800-945-0777.

Proceeds from the 2007 Wells Fargo Championship will benefit the tournament's primary charity Teach For America, a national education foundation that provides a corps of outstanding recent college graduates of all academic majors who commit to teach for two years in underserved urban and rural public schools. In four years, the Wells Fargo Championship has donated $5.7 million to charities.

The Wells Fargo Championship's $6.3 million purse guarantees the winner in excess of $1 million. In 2005, the Wells Fargo Championship signed an agreement with the PGA TOUR to hold the event in Charlotte through the year 2010.
