Featured Story: Patrick Henderson 2004

When you head out to the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow, you will probably have a few questions, like "Where are the refreshments?", "Where are the restrooms?" or even, "Where's the eighteenth green?"

That's where Patrick Henderson can help. Patrick is one of the many volunteers who help ensure the Wells Fargo Championship is the best it can be. And as part of the Information Services Committee, he'll be on hand to answer almost any Tournament question you can pose.

Being the answer man for thousands of people takes a special talent, and Patrick seems to possess such talent. "For the past 20 years I have been involved in the service profession because I enjoy helping others. Some of my past positions include marketing teacher at C.E. Jordan High School, Student Ambassador Director and Alumni Representative at Appalachian State University, Conference and Adventure Director at YMCA Camp Thunderbird, and presently I'm teaching marketing at Weddington High School.

"When dealing with people all day at the Wells Fargo Championship, it is very important to understand that you are there to assist others," he adds. "If you enjoy meeting new people and interacting with big crowds, then it is a lot of fun! The Wells Fargo Championship is a first class event and I'm proud to be a part of it!"

With people like Patrick on board, this year's Championship is bound to carry on the tradition of greatness that started last year.
