March 23, 2010Tickets Now Available at South Park Mall For 2010 Wells Fargo Championship
For Immediate Release
Charlotte, NC—March 23, 2010—Once again the Wells Fargo Championship will provide a convenient option for patrons to obtain tickets for Charlotte’s only PGA TOUR event.
Starting tomorrow, Wednesday March 24, area fans can visit the Wells Fargo Championship kiosk at SouthPark Mall, and purchase tickets for the April 26-May 2 tournament to be held at Quail Hollow Club. All ticket packages will be available.
“We had a lot of positive reaction from patrons regarding this outlet last year and decided to keep it in place again this year. Not only does it serve as a reminder that the tournament is just around the corner, but it was very convenient for patrons either visiting the shopping area or for those who live nearby to go and purchase tickets. Plus, by doing this they will save $10 shipping and handling fees and be able to walk away with tickets in hand.” said Kym Hougham, Executive Director of the Wells Fargo Championship.
The Wells Fargo Championship kiosk at SouthPark Mall will be located at Center Court, near the escalators. Operation hours will be Monday-Friday 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; Sunday 1:00-5:00 p.m. The kiosk will be operated by tournament volunteers.
Tickets start at $25 for the Practice Pack that consists of daily tickets for Monday’s Pro-Am along with Tuesday’s practice round and Wednesday’s Pro-Am. Tickets for the first two rounds Thursday and Friday are $40 each and tickets for the final two rounds Saturday and Sunday are $50 each. Weekly books are also available for $140, which reflects a $65 savings. The cost of parking at authorized lots and shuttle service to and from Quail Hollow Club are included in the ticket price as are all taxes.
Premium tickets and some corporate hospitality are also still available. They can be purchased by visiting the tournament website www.wellsfargochampionship.com or by calling the tournament office at 704-554-8101.
To accommodate families, children ages 12 and under are free with a paid adult admission (one child per paying adult).
